Georgie Cooper: Who drives pickup trucks?

Missy Cooper: Most people in the country.

Georgie Cooper: Well, now it does sound like one.

Missy Cooper: I told you, it’s confusing.

  1. Apologies, I understand now. It’s not a complete sentence without a verb eg. “Most people in the country drive a pick-up”.
    I look forward to hearing from you regarding the scattered quotes.

  2. It is a complete sentence because it has an implicit verb. It’s not unlike a sentence “me.” There no verb but the implicit sentence is “I do” or “I am,” etc.
