Quote Callbacks & Parallels

In Ahsoka’s quote about Anakin “He always stood by me. Even when no one else did.” not only she is refering to the time in the Clone Wars where she was falsely accused, but almost repeats what Anakin told her at the time: “I believed in you. I stood by you!” (Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5, Episode 20)

This conversation is also very similar to a conversation Ahsoka had with Ezra about Anakin. In Star Wars Rebels (Season 2, Episode 18) Ahsoka said about Anakin: “What would have surprised people was how kind he was. He cared deeply about his friends, and looked out for them until the end.”
