• “Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him.” – says Darth Vader to Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars Rebels.

• Ben Kenobi about Vader: “He betrayed and murdered your father,” in Episode IV: A New Hope. It seems Obi-Wan accepted the fact, that Vader is Anakin no longer a long time ago.

• “That name no longer has any meaning for me,” says Vader to Luke about the name ‘Anakin’ in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Vader confirms he no longer believes there is any part of Anakin left in him.
