(After they land...)

Kanan Jarrus: Keep it running in case things...

Hera Syndulla: In case things go like they usually do?

Kanan Jarrus: Pretty much, yeah.

Kanan Jarrus (nervously): How do I look?

Ezra Bridger: Hmm, same as always. Why?

Kanan Jarrus: No reason. Straighten up a little bit. You're making me look bad.

Ezra Bridger: What's the matter with you?

Kanan Jarrus: Nothing. Just calm down.

Ezra Bridger: You calm down.

(Cham Syndulla walks in...)

Hera Syndulla: It's been a long time, Father.

Cham Syndulla (to Kanan): Ah. You must be the Jedi I've heard about.

Kanan Jarrus: Jarrus. Kanan Jarrus. I've... Heard a lot about you too, sir. This is the rest of our crew. (Points at Sabine): Ezra, (points at Zeb): Sabine and (points at Ezra): Zeb.

Hera Syndulla: I hear we're taking prisoners now.

Kanan Jarrus: I like to think of him more as a reluctant recruit.

Sabine Wren: It was better than the alternative. We're not at war with the Protectors. There was no need to take their lives if we didn't have to.

Hera Syndulla: Hmm. Sabine, you're sounding more like a Jedi than a Mandalorian.

Sabine Wren: Well, I guess I've just been raised right.

(Ezra wants to go back to Lothal...)

Kanan Jarrus (to Ezra): I know you have to go, but that doesn't mean you have to go alone.

Hera Syndulla: We support you. We're family.

Hera Syndulla: I was a little girl when the Clone War came to Ryloth. My mother hid us below ground, but I'd peek out when the Republic ships flew over as they fought to liberate my world. I dreamt of nothing more than to be up there with them.

Quarrie: So, you left your family to fight?

Hera Syndulla: I left my family so I could fly.

Quarrie: As a combat pilot.

Hera Syndulla: If we want freedom, we must make difficult choices. I chose to leave my family, I chose to learn to fly, and then I chose to use that ability to help others in need. But it's all rooted in something I can't explain... A need to be up there. Because even when there are explosions all around me, and things are at their worst, I feel like I'm at my best.

Hera Syndulla: I did a little research on why it's so hard to land here.

Sabine Wren: And?

Hera Syndulla: The upper atmosphere is tricky.

Sabine Wren: Tricky how?

Hera Syndulla: You can get through it, but your craft never seems to maintain its power.

Zeb Orrelios: Whoa. What does that mean? I don't know what that means.

Sabine Wren: It means no power, no flying, just falling.

Zeb Orrelios: Could've mentioned this before I got on board!

Hera Syndulla: You wouldn't have come!

Ezra Bridger (about Vader): Ahsoka, do you know who or what he is?

Ahsoka Tano: No, I don't. But I do know that he will be coming. They'll all be coming now.

Ezra Bridger: Then we've got to be ready to fight.

Kanan Jarrus: We must find the strength to fight, but the greater courage is knowing when not to fight.

Hera Syndulla: And we'll be beside you either way.

Kanan Jarrus: When you and I started together, it was, "Rob from the Empire, give to the needy." A noble cause. Now we're getting drawn into some kind of military thing. I don't like it.

Hera Syndulla: We are fighting a bigger fight, but it's still the right fight.

Kanan Jarrus: I survived one war. I'm not ready for another one. I saw what it did.

Hera Syndulla: To the Jedi?

Kanan Jarrus: To everyone.

Sabine Wren: Kanan is on Governor Tarkin's Destroyer, the Sovereign. It's still here above Lothal, but it's scheduled to leave soon.

Hera Syndulla: Where to?

Sabine Wren: The Mustafar system? I've never heard of it. Hera?

Hera Syndulla: I've only heard that name once. From Kanan. He said Mustafar is where Jedi go to die.

Zeb Orrelios: Funny story. You see, Lando and I were playing sabacc, and I kinda bet Chopper.

Hera Syndulla: Garazeb Orrelios, Chopper wasn't yours to bet!

Zeb Orrelios: Kanan said it was okay.

Hera Syndulla (to Kanan): And you should know better! Chopper is a member of this crew!

Sabine Wren: I'd like to know why we're relying on intel from this Fulcrum, whoever he is.

Kanan Jarrus: It's Hera's job to find missions that create problems for the Empire and profit for us. If she trusts the contact, I trust the contact. No questions asked.

Sabine Wren: At the Imperial Academy, they didn't want me to ask questions either. That didn't work for me. That's why I ended up here.

Kanan Jarrus: And we're glad to have you.

Sabine Wren: You are so frustrating.

Kanan Jarrus: Yeah, I've heard that before.

Sabine Wren (to Hera): Fine. I'm done asking questions. I'm telling you. I'm coming on your run to meet Fulcrum.

Hera Syndulla: You know, you can be pretty frustrating too.

Sabine Wren: Learned from the best.

(TIE fighter is after them...)

Ezra Bridger: Hera, shouldn't we be firing back?

Hera Syndulla: Stay calm. It's all part of the plan.

Ezra Bridger: Is getting blasted out of the sky part of the plan too? Because if it is, then the plan's going great.

Hera Syndulla: Ezra, you should know better. (Hera shoots down the fighter) There isn't a pilot in the Imperial fleet that can outrun me.

Ezra Bridger: Yeah. So, how 'bout teaching me some of those high-flyin' moves?

Hera Syndulla: You? Fly my ship? I don't know, Ezra. You really think you're ready?

(Three more fighters show up...)

Ezra Bridger: Not ready. Not ready!

(Sabine is heard spraying something in Zeb's and Ezra's room...)

Hera Syndulla: You do realize this isn't your room?

Sabine Wren: I was inspired. It was Ezra's idea.

Hera Syndulla: Could be worse. Could be my room.

Ezra Bridger: Why would I risk my life for a bunch of strangers?

Hera Syndulla: Because Kanan risked his for you. If all you do is fight for your own life, then your life is worth nothing.
